Hey, you guys solved my first problem, how about another? Got charging problem fixed, temporarily. Now I probably should consider a new harness for this 32 year old truck. Who has the best prices and quality harness for it? Thanks. Follow Ups: |

| I have a 72 stepside. The wiring harness has two pieces that screw into the firewall. The left side feeds the starter. I have a purple wire, a green and black wire and a couple of other wires on this side of the harness. I don't know which wires go where. How can I find this information so I can finish the wiring on the truck. Please Help...................... |

| I would consider Painless Performance Products. You can get the best price from Jegs or Summit. Should run about $300.00. Will bolt/plug right in and has lifetime guarantee. Really nice quality. Follow Ups: |

| Go to www.67-72chevytrucks.com and look to the left, there is a list of vendors, amny who are only on line with no paper catalogs. These guys have some of the best stuff out there for the 67 - 72 trucks. Wess, paul, Rick, they are all not only vendors, but restorers too. They check out all the stuff they sell, they only cary the better stuff, yet still end up being cheaper than the LMC rip off guys. While you are there, check out the boards on that site...more info than you'll ever be able to retain. I'm known as Longhorn Man over there. Follow Ups: |
