townsend 01-29-2005 15:27:12 207.194.162.56 12367 Report to Moderator	I dont know the answer to that, I remember the year 1957, We had a cousin stop at our place. He was a truckdriver, and was driving a kenworth pulling a trailer. The conversation between him his co-driver my dad and me got around to trucks. He mentioned some kind of new transmission he refered to as a mickey mouse transmission, I was very intrested because I liked trucks. I found out later he was talking about a 10 speed. He said they werent any good and would never be successful. Well look at em now, you cant even buy a 2 stick truck anymore. I agree with him though, I learned to drive on a 5X4 and I have driven lots of them also 4X4 and 5X3. I sure prefer the 2 stick to the modern air shift junk. I am close to retirement and only work part time now, but when I climb into my thourghly modern Mack I long for my old 60 KW.   [Reply]  [No Email]
