I'm repairing an 85 F350 and installing a modified 300-6. A manual tranny would get a little better mileage. [Reply]  [No Email]

However, I don't think it would hold up to hard pulling, even with the 300 six. Should be able to find a heavy duty five speed from behind a 351W though.
