Hi guys. Here is grandad's old 54 GMC with the 500 gas engine. He said it was tough and drank gas. Comments? Just nice to see that amount of style in an old big truck. I wish it was new. Anyone wanna buy it cheap? They don't make em' like they used to. |

| Yes, it's an old road tractor with air brakes. I have a 1949 too in very very nice original shape. I think Grandpa has the title for the 1954 yet somewhere. Very rough underneath and wore out. Lots of miles on it. I think he'd agree to $300 bucks for it. Let me ask. Just trying to sell it for him. |

| | Wish I did not have as many projects as I do or I'd be tempted to get it. Great looking old truck. I see lots of possibilities and lots of labor. I'd be tempted to put a 6-71 Detroit Diesel in it. It would sound as good as it looks. As it is, I'm busy enough with my 1953 John Deere 50 and 1968 Case 450 loader. Why don't you fix it up? Heck, it's your Grandfather's old truck. John |

| I have my 1948 GMC and he has a 1947 2-ton inside. It is not nice and it is very rusted out. The tranny needs a rebuild and so on. Lots of miles on the old girl. |
