Hi truck fellas. With gas prices, license, insurance, and having to get a CDL, I regretably decided I have to sell my old GMC Semi. The cost of restoration I'll not be able to come up with for years. It's a shame. Dennis Martinez showed me some awesome machines all restored so I really don't want this to wind up in someone's backyard to die. Can anyone put a price on this big hunk of American engineering? I welcome any intelligent guesses. Thanks! |

| Didn't you get that truck like just 2 weeks ago? You want to get rid of it already?I don't think you need a CDL if the truck has a historical registration.Yeah,it's sure to suck gas,but how much use will it get.My recent restoration projects go in steps.First is the brakes and then the rest of the mechanicals. Then I try to detail the frame and engine compartment. Then body work and primer. Then the interior.Last thing is paint.Money spent a little at a time doesn't seem to hurt quite as much. You know, once you sell it,it'll be gone forever. Been there, done that.Think about it before you let it go. |

| Well, Chrristmas is tough this year and I know a restored F-600 I can get cheap and still have money for holidays if I sell it. I weon't let it go till I know it will be used by someone. A guy gave me the truck and said he's take a Minneapolis Moline GVI Diesel in return. So the search continues! I think I located another old GMC but not sure I want to mess with it. |

| Mopower... what is this truck? This is an 800 series? So, is that a COE? Has big six maybe? Is it dual rear axle? Where is it? How much? I'm in IN, have a 69 tilt'cab GMC needing some TLC with toro'flow in it, running. Is the truck yours with title now, or signed at least? Where's title from? Contact me at glperry@fwi.com |
